Where are you going?

This is the question that is most asked.  The answer is Augsburg, Germany, located in the south of Germany.  In 2015, Augsburg will celebrate 2000 years as a city.  For all you visual learners, I've attached some maps to help you figure out where we are going to spend the next two years.

As you can see, Germany is central to all of Western Europe.  Only hours away from France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, UK, etc.  

Augsburg is located in Bavaria, southern Germany.  We are only an hour northwest of Munich (see below.)
